1) ARMY. Overall length: 15 1/2". Plain blade marked "(knight’s head) WKC SOLINGEN". Plated eagle crossguard, oak leaf-decorated pommel, and oak leaf-decorated ferrule. Rich orange grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade and mounts are in good condition but have been buffed. Mounts show light tarnish. Grip has two tiny chips on the narrow bands. Scabbard finish is nearly 100%. 2) LUFTWAFFE. Overall length: 16 9/16". Plain blade marked "PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO (logo) BERLIN". Plated eagle crossguard with plated globular pommel and oak leaf-decorated ferrule. Off-white wire-wrapped grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray patina. Mounts have ample tarnish but no damaged. Grip is a bit darkened. Scabbard has a tarnished finish. (02-22801-4/BF). $700-1,000.
